Precision Optics was started in 2013. It was started based on a want to do better than as salaried workers. It was started to have freedom of choice as a professional. Selling of glasses & contact lenses is often seen as no different from buying a pair of nice shoes or merchandise. Although that is one facet of the industry, the process of the eye examination and frame fitting is very much rooted in Science. It is not uncommon for the optometrist to be able to pick up underlying eye conditions, which can be potentially blinding. With the (limited) budget we had for our startup, we decided to invest primarily in our testing facility rather than in fancy renovation works. It was a conscious effort as, ultimately we want the best care for your eyes.
Patrick & Linda both graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Dip. in Optometry in 2003 and 2000 respectively. Patrick completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Clinical Optometry in 2011. Linda completed her B.Sc in Optometry in 2015. In 2018, Ms Tricia Lee joined Precision Optics after graduating with a diploma in Optometry from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. We believe that we have the right expertise, experience and attitude to attend your visual requirements.
